Information for people requiring the Yellow Fever Vaccine and International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis: 

Travelers must receive their Yellow Fever vaccine at least 10 days prior to their departure date, as the certificate (International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis) starts effective 10 days after the date of Yellow Fever vaccine administration and is valid for 10 years (example if a person receives Yellow Fever vaccine on January 1, 2012, the validity of the certificate starts from January 11,2012 and remains valid till  January 11, 2022).

What is Yellow Fever?
Yellow fever is a viral infection, which is spread and carried by mosquitos, common in South America and Sub-saharan Africa. It is one of the cause of acute viral hemorrhagic fever.

What is the cause of Yellow Fever?
The cause is Yellow Fever Virus, a flavivirus, transmitted by Aedes Aegeptii mosquito.  

What are the signs and symptoms of Yellow fever infection?
Sign and symptoms of yellow ranges from asypmtomatic to jaundice, fever and even death.
Yellow fever may involve two phases - initial acute phase followed by  second toxic phase. After incubation period of 3 to 6 days, infected person
